Sam & Nam – A Beautiful Berkeley Tea Ceremony in the Woods…with Boba!
I met Sam & Nam on a camping trip that I was invited on my by cousin. I loved them from the start. So when they reached out for help with planning their wedding, I was overjoyed to help! Their vision was simple: a beautiful day with family and friends, among the Berkeley trees, and honoring family. Piedmont Community Hall was the perfect venue for this intimate vision, with their onsite Japanese Tea House, outdoor patio, and ceremony space under the Berkeley trees. Read More

Why I’m Quitting Tech To Be An Entrepinay
After 7 years, today is my last day at Google / X. Honestly, I never thought I’d stay for that long. And the funny thing is, I almost didn’t accept the job. But here I am 7 years later, and ready to take the leap and go full time #Entrepinay (aka Pinay entrepreneur). Reflecting back, there wasn’t one moment that brought me to this decision. Instead it was a perfectly timed chain of events, a lot of faith, and listening to signs from the universe that led me to this current endeavor.

Olivia & Steven – A Vintage Fairytale Wedding in the Woods
Olivia and Steven’s wedding was nothing short of a fairytale. When Olivia originally reached out to me about planning her wedding, I was immediately excited about their vision — a small, intimate wedding at Tilden Park with white vintage furniture. I said, count me in! Read More
Tim & Jake’s Ancient Ceremonial Wedding in San Francisco
I knew Tim from my previous job working at Waymo, the self-driving car team, so when he asked me to help plan his wedding, I was overjoyed! When I met Tim & Jake together for the first time and heard their vision, I knew that I was in for a treat. Tim & Jake got engaged atop Mount Heavenly in Lake Tahoe. In the spirit of ancient traditions Jake proposed to Tim with three stones to signify a trinity of unconditional (Rose Quartz), divine (Sugilite) and familial (Malachite) love.Read More
UNDISCOVERED SF – Launching a New Creative Night Market for SF
When I was introduced to the movement around SOMA Pilipinas by my friend Desi Danganan about a year ago, I knew I had to get involved. I had just launched Make it Mariko a few months back, and was ready to get back involved with the community especially rallying around Filipino entrepreneurs. So I offered to help produce a “launch party” for SOMA Pilipinas as a way to help spread the word about the district and get people excited and proud. I knew I’d be in for some work, but had no idea how much work…
We eventually came up with the idea for the Creative Night Market based on the vibrant night markets in Asia and we started to see this beautiful concept coming to life, with an amazing team of Filipino entrepreneurs and #Entrepinays. We worked hard for the next year on the concept: raising money, finding sponsors, getting permits, and making it real.
On Friday August 18th, we officially launched UNDISCOVERED SF: A Creative Night Market for the Bay Area, and the Filipino community responded.
Shay & Oliver’s Colorful Buddhist Wedding in San Francisco
Shay and Oliver were such a kind and beautiful couple with a unique vision for their wedding. They were set on having a small, intimate wedding with less than 50 people. This would be the first time that their families would meet, and they wanted it to be a personal experience where everyone would have time to get to know each other.Read More
