The Client
Located in the heart of San Francisco’s up-and-coming South of Market neighborhood, Bluxome Center is a community space founded by real estate company Alexandria Real Estate that celebrates the potential of young minds by hosting educational programs and events. With an emphasis on STEM based programs, Bluxome kicked off its first year by hosting a free community festival, educational training sessions for Education Outside, dance showcases for Diggs Deeper and more.

Celebrating Bluxome Street Businesses & Community
Community and educational events
We activated the space by hosting community and educational based events with an emphasis on STEAM (science, tech, education, arts, math) organizations.Â

Over the period of 2 years, we hosted over 35 events for 2500+ people and partnered with 11 organizations like Girls Who Code, UCSF, SFUSD, and htm.elle.
Bluxome Street Fair
We produced a Street Festival called Bluxome Street Fair, where we hosted all the local businesses, a main stage, and a STEM youth fair for hundreds of local neighbors to help build strong relationships with the SoMa community.

“Never have I attended something quite as cool as what was hosted this evening. It felt like a true neighborhood happening, which is a coup if you think about the location, the immediate past history, and the diversity of groups who came together to celebrate tonight. Real estate people and biotech folk were rubbing shoulders with artists, community activists, winemakers, tennis players and do-ers of every kind. The music was amazing.
