She is the Founder & Chief Experience Officer (CEO) of Make it Mariko and Weddings In Color, as well as the Co-Founder & Event Producer of the well-known UNDISCOVERED SF Creative Night Market in SOMA Pilipinas. Prior to founding Make it Mariko, Gina spent 10 years doing corporate & nonprofit event planning, administration, and operations including 7 years working for Google, most recently as the Head of Marketing Events for Google X.

Longer Bio:
Gina Mariko Rosales is a Filipino Japanese American Bay Area native, daughter of hip hop, events enthusiast, efficiency nerd, and community connector. She is the Founder & CEO of Make it Mariko Events, as well as the Co-Founder & Event Producer of the well-known UNDISCOVERED SF Creative Night Market in SOMA Pilipinas, which launched to over 10,000 people in 2017. Prior to founding Make it Mariko, Gina spent 10 years doing corporate & nonprofit event planning, administration, and operations including 7 years working for Google, most recently as the Head of Marketing Events for Google X. Gina was the former Executive Director of the award-winning, nonprofit performing arts organization, Funkanometry SF. In 2018 Gina founded the Pinayista Summit, an online community and annual event for Filipinas/Pinays with the mission to “build sisterhood in the hustle.”
